MMC Football
The MMC Tackle Football Program is a competitive, public program provided for children between the grades of 3rd through 8th Grade. We currently compete in the Old Colony Youth Football League. All coaches and volunteers are certified through USA Football for Concussion and Football Safety and provide a great foundation for instilling hard work, determination and discipline for all of our athletes.
Ages
Our Competitive Tackle Football program provides for the following ages:
Mites Team: 3rd/4th Grade
Peewees Team: 5th/6th Grade
Midgets Team: 7th/8th Grade
When
The Cougars Football season begins in August with conditioning and practice, however lookout for free clinics in July.
Our Games begin in September and playoffs will come to a close in November.
Where
Practices will be held behind the MECC at 26 Jackson Street, on the big baseball field directly behind the MECC.
Practices
Practices in August will be Monday through Thursday 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Once school starts practices will be same time Tuesday- Thursday.
Games
Games will be on Saturdays for JV and Sunday for Varsity. Coaching staffs will determine which games your athletes will play in, but the two different games ensures equal playing time for everyone. Generally games will be at the following times:
JV (Saturday): Mites- 8am
Peewees- 10am
Midgets- 9am
Varsity(Sunday): Mites- 10am
Peewees- 1pm
Midgets- 1130am
Our home field is Battis Field at the bottom of the hill at 26 Jackson Street Middleboro, MA. All away games will be posted at beginning of the year and will be at various other towns.
Jerseys
All equipment will be provided at beginning of the year. The only equipment expected to be purchased by the families is a water bottle, mouth piece and cup.

2024 Registration is CLOSED! Registration is yearly between March-July.

This discount will be monitored and any use without multiple registrations will be cancelled.
